Nori seaweed (Porphyra umbilicus) got it’s popularity as the wrapping around sushi rolls. It has an inky-black colour, that when toasted turns bright green. How to use Nori

Nori has zero fat and contains 30% fibre with a protein content comparable to legumes (30%)!
In comparison to all of the other edible seaweeds, it is the highest source of Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, C & E. It’s also a good source of all the carotenes (eg. Vitamin A), potassium, phosphorous, magnesium and by weight, has 10 times more calcium and iron than dairy.
It also contains approximately 50% soluble fibre (eg. alginate) — a very important component of any comprehensive, wholistic dietary program for cholesterol or blood sugar management.
